This year, the economy has made life even more difficult for our four-legged friends. The rescue organizations and shelters stay full because of families' financial difficulties, while donations are down for the same reasons.
Our favorite charity is
GOLDEN BEGINNINGS GOLDEN RETRIEVER RESCUE,
an organization that helps rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome Golden Retrievers in need.
We are a foster home for this orgnization, and can't think of a more rewarding way to help our favorite breed.

The tree is GBGRR's most important fundraiser of the year, and the money raised is needed to help pay the rising costs of medical care for dogs in need of rescue.
