Our theme for the last 2 years was tropical, so this year we went for a change.  The elves were a little bit too busy this year to get it going as early as they usually do, but everything was up and running by Christmas week.   This year, most of the tropical elements took a break and a few additional elements were added.   The driveway arches and the Color Wheel were still here, and Candy Canes, Frosty, and a Nativity scene were added.  A more traditional Santa moved to the roof, and the Reindeer (2 of them this year) stayed on the ground.  Since we chose not to cut down the live oak to open up the yard, we decided to use it to our advantage.  We added 8 lighted bells in the tree to brighten up the tree canopy.   The Parrot Wreath and one Flamingo are still here as a nod to our Tropical preferences, and we plan to keep at least some of the tropical elements every year regardless of the theme.  The music this year includes music by Alvin and the Chipmunks, The Beach Boys, and Bob Rivers.  We were able to expand horizontally a bit this year courtesy of the neighbors on each side.  Visitors are able to tune in to Flamingo Radio and enjoy Caribbean, Hawaiian, and other tropical Christmas music 24 hours a day.  Our show will be running through January 1st, so please drive by to enjoy the show!
